Tradition with Environmental Awareness

We believe that honoring tradition also means caring for the future. That’s why every choice we make is guided by environmental responsibility. We use leftover fabrics for reuse projects, encouraging conscious and circular fashion. Our production is local, artisanal and made with sustainable materials, reflecting the respect we have for culture and nature in every detail of our creations.

On the catwalks of Brazil Eco Fashion Week 2024 in Milan, we celebrate the Marajoara soul and sustainability. In each piece, the Amazon is revealed: conscious fabrics and ancestral features, exalting the natural sophistication of a fashion that is art and heritage.

In 2024, we were recognized as a company in favor of sustainability.

Collection Marajoara capsule

With carefully selected natural fibers and fine fabrics, our pieces are designed to dress more than just the body — they dress a story. Every detail reveals the connection between the Amazon and design, with artisanal finishes and textures that translate the strength and delicacy of Marajoara nature into timeless creations.

A Little About Us

Val Valadares was born in a quilombola community in Jacundá, Pará, where, amid financial challenges and her father's paralysis, she found hope in sewing, taught by her grandmother. At the age of 15, she moved to Belém, where she overcame difficulties to study and improve her fashion skills. Years later, she opened her own studio, transforming her passion into a business. In 2020, she was recognized by SEBRAE Pará and invited to create a reinterpretation of the Marajoara shirt for COP 30. Today, the Val Valadares brand grows and stands out, bringing sustainable Marajoara fashion to Brazil and the world.
